Well sadly ( not entirely but still-I am not a morning person) I’m getting ready to go back to work.  The summer always flys by so quickly and I never get done all I planned! Right now my class list stands at 21 kids, which is good for first grade!  But I’m sure that number will change by the 29th when they all come rolling into the room! I spent most of my day there yesterday trying to get my room all ready to go!

I have been knitting and sewing too though!  I finished a baby quilt top I need for next weekend, I may go put it together today and I plan on machine quilting it on Monday.  My Tube Toperini is almost done.  I have the body done but I’m going to make wide straps to sew on. I’m really happy with the way it turned out.

I’m also making a purse for my niece’s birthday, she wants a pink and green felted one…so the bag is done, I’m working on the icord handles.   I’m hoping to take it and felt it at my mom’s tomorrow (I have a front loading machine). I have another little bag from Magknits I need to felt too.  

I’m still working on the somewhat cowl , I’m trying to finish up some other smaller projects-just to make me feel better about getting some stuff done!

I guess I have finished up a few things…that makes me feel pretty good!!!
