I think my stash is multiplying on it’s own!
Hi my name is Michelle and I am a yarnaholic fiber obsessed. OK so I was trying to clean out the yarn room spare bedroom and I realized that I have a fabric yarn problem.
This picture is only a small sampling of the mess. I should probably go on a yarn diet. I found a strangely large amount of fun fur!! WHY I ask myself WHY and what should I do with all this weird novelty yarn? Right now It’s in a box by itself, in time out. I couldn’t even bring myself to take a picture of it!
In other news, I’m moving along on my SKB, I did the collar, and now just have the sleeves to do. I think I did a pretty good job since this is the first time that I have picked up stitches. There is a spot or 2 that are curled a bit. I need to get 16inch needles for it, I think the 24″ will be too long. Hopefully I’ll get to my LYS to pick them up tomorrow. (Seeing my yarn stash of things I’m really wanting to knit-I need to finish this so I can move on!!) If I knit this again I would definitely make the next smaller size. I would also use a wool or wool blend of some sort.

Your yarn most likely is multiplying. What most people don’t know is that skeins of yarn are either male or female and, fertile or not. If you don’t want your stash to multiply like rabbits you have to know this and practice segregation techniques to maintain somekind of sanity in the home.
